The Protect-800 Long Range Magnetic Gate Alarm features an outdoor receiver paired with a bright, adjustable floodlight—ideal for security and visibility. The floodlight’s duration is fully configurable via a long-range remote control. When armed, it activates automatically when the gate is opened, and can also be triggered manually using the SOS button on the remote from up to 800 metres away.
How It Works:
The battery-powered transmitter board is housed in a weatherproof enclosure and communicates with the outdoor receiver up to 800 metres line-of-sight (typically 400–600 metres in most environments). The transmitter uses a 3 V CR123A battery (included) with a 12–18 month lifespan.
A wired contact with an armoured sleeve connects to the transmitter and mounts to the gate post, door frame, or floor for roller shutters. The magnet attaches to the gate, door, or roller shutter, with an optional right-hand mounting bracket for easier installation.
When armed, opening the gate triggers the floodlight for the selected duration. It can be turned off manually using the long-range remote, or triggered at any time using the SOS button for emergencies or added visibility. In SOS mode, the floodlight remains on until deactivated via the remote. Additional remotes can be paired.
The fully weatherproof outdoor receiver is powered by a 12 V plug-in transformer, with waterproof cable entry glands. Optional indoor chime receivers, sirens, or buzzers can be added for additional notifications.
