Long Range Wireless Gate/Door Left Open Alert with Flashing LED (Protect-800)

A reliable wireless silent alert system designed to activate a flashing blue LED strobe whenever a gate, roller shutter, or door is left open. Perfect for customers who need to ensure gates remain closed to protect children, pets, or property security.

Unlike traditional alarms, this system provides a visual but silent notification. Optional sirens or buzzers can be added on request.

How It Works

• Two battery-powered transmitters are housed inside a weatherproof box with an operating range of up to 800 metres (line of sight) — typically 400–600 metres in real-world conditions.

• Each transmitter is powered by a 3v CR123A lithium battery (supplied), with a life expectancy of 12–18 months.

• A wired contact with protective armoured sleeve is mounted to the gatepost, door frame, or floor (for roller shutters).

• A magnet is fixed to the moving part of the gate/door and supplied with a right-hand mounting bracket for easier installation.

• The outdoor wireless receiver is powered by a 12v plug-in transformer and includes waterproof cable glands for secure installation.

• The blue flashing strobe light connects to the receiver via cable and can also be mounted directly on the receiver box if required.

• Using the supplied remote control, you can easily arm/disarm the system or trigger the strobe manually in case of medical or security emergencies.

When armed, the strobe activates and continues to flash as long as the gate/door remains open. In SOS situations, the strobe can be latched on until turned off via the remote.

An optional indoor chime receiver can also be added to provide in-house notification (non-latching).

Outdoor Receiver Features
