Protect 800 Long Range Driveway Metal Detecting Alarm with Outdoor Receiver & Loud Bell

The Protect 800 Long Range Driveway Metal Detecting Alarm features an outdoor receiver and a loud 85 dB bell, designed to alert owners, visitors, or intruders outside your property. The bell’s duration is fully adjustable and controlled via a long-range remote control. It can also be manually triggered at any time using the SOS button.

How It Works

• When the hidden metal-detecting probe senses moving steel, it sends a wireless signal up to 800 metres (line of sight; typically 400–600 metres in most settings) to the outdoor receiver.

• If the receiver is armed, the bell activates for the preset duration, which can be stopped early using the remote control.

• The SOS button allows immediate activation in security or medical emergencies, latching the bell ON until manually turned off.

• The fully weatherproof outdoor receiver is powered by a 12V plug-in transformer, with cable entry through waterproof glands.

Wireless Transmitter & Probe

• Fully weatherproof and powered by 3 × CR123A batteries

• Vehicle-detecting probe with 14 metres of cable connecting to the transmitter, allowing covert placement

• Designed to be buried just below the surface/grass parallel to the driveway, detecting moving steel only, ideal for areas with roaming animals or near locked steel gates

• Cable should be protected with sleeving to prevent damage by small animals

• Sensitivity adjustable via transmitter board

• Optional indoor chime receiver can be added to provide notifications inside the home or office

Bell Duration

Selectable via internal dip-switches:

• 1, 3, 10, 15, 20, 30 seconds or minutes

• Latched ON until disarmed using remote control
