Floodlight Long-Range Wireless Driveway Metal & Vehicle Detecting Alarm with Outdoor Receiver & Remote Control (Protect-800)

The Protect-800 Long-Range Driveway Alarm combines a metal and vehicle detecting probe with a bright 12V floodlight and an outdoor wireless receiver. This system allows the floodlight to operate automatically when steel objects or vehicles are detected, making it ideal for driveways, entrances, or areas where animals are present.

How It Works

• When the hidden probe detects moving steel, it sends a wireless signal up to 800 metres (line of sight; approx. 400–600 metres in most setups) to the outdoor receiver.

• If the receiver is armed, the floodlight activates for a pre-set duration, which can be adjusted via the long-range remote control.

• The floodlight can also be manually triggered using the SOS button on the remote, which is useful for security situations or enhanced visibility.

• In SOS mode, the floodlight remains latched ON until turned off using the remote.

Wireless Transmitter & Metal/Vehicle Detecting Probe

• Transmitter powered by 3 × CR123A batteries (supplied) and fully weatherproof

• Probe includes 14 metres of cable to allow discreet placement of the transmitter box

• Designed to be buried just under the surface or grass, parallel to the driveway

• Detects moving steel only, ideal for driveways with roaming animals

• Can detect a steel gate in motion

• Protective sleeving is recommended to prevent damage from small ground animals

• Sensitivity adjustment on the transmitter board allows precise tuning

• Optional indoor chime receiver can be added for alerts inside the house or office

Floodlight Duration

The floodlight’s operation can be set using internal dip-switches:

• 1 second or 1 minute

• 3 seconds or 3 minutes

• 10 seconds or 10 minutes

• 15 seconds or 15 minutes

• 20 seconds or 20 minutes

• 30 seconds or 30 minutes

• Latched ON (until disarmed via remote)

Outdoor Receiver Features
