The Protect 800 Long Range Driveway Metal Detecting Alarm is a comprehensive security solution featuring an outdoor receiver and a surface-mounted, weatherproof adjustable siren. Designed to alert you to intruders, the siren’s volume and tone can be customized to your preference, and its duration is fully controllable via a long-range remote control. The siren can also be triggered manually at any time using the SOS button.

How It Works

• The hidden metal-detecting probe monitors moving steel and sends a wireless signal up to 800 metres (line of sight; typically 400–600 metres in most environments) to the outdoor receiver.

• When the receiver is armed, the adjustable siren is activated for the set duration. This can be turned off before the duration ends using the remote control.

• The SOS button can be used in security or medical emergencies, latching the siren on until it is manually turned off via the remote.

• The weatherproof outdoor receiver is powered by a 12V plug-in transformer, with cable entry through waterproof glands.

Wireless Transmitter & Probe

• Fully weatherproof, powered by 3 × CR123A batteries

• Comes with 15 metres of cable to position the transmitter in a covert location suitable for wireless transmission

• Probe designed to be buried just below surface level/grass, detecting only moving steel—perfect for properties with large roaming animals or near locked steel gates

• Cable should be fitted in protective sleeving to prevent damage from small animals

• Sensitivity adjustable via transmitter board

• Optional indoor chime receiver can be added for notifications inside the home or office

• 1, 3, 10, 15, 20, 30 seconds or minutes
