1. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging.

  • All labels, accessories, and manuals must be included.

  • Proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice) is required.

  • Product must be in a resaleable condition.

If these conditions are not met, we may decline or issue a partial refund.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For safety, hygiene, and quality control, the following cannot be returned:

  • Custom-made or made-to-order products

  • Special order or personalised items

  • Used, installed, or modified products (e.g., fixed bollards or barriers)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Clearance, discounted, or gift-card purchases

3. How to Start a Return

  1. Email sales@barriersandbollard.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.

  2. Attach clear photos if the item is damaged, incorrect, or defective.

  3. Our team will review your request within 1–2 working days and provide next steps or a return authorisation (RMA).

  4. Once approved, you’ll receive return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return label.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Company-Paid Returns: If the product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect due to our error.

  • Customer-Paid Returns: For all other reasons (e.g., unwanted or wrong item ordered).

Prepaid labels are issued on a case-by-case basis.

5. Inspection and Refunds

  • Returned items are inspected within 2–3 business days of arrival.

  • If approved, refunds are issued within 5 business days via the original payment method.

  • Processing times may vary depending on your card issuer or bank.

If you haven’t received a refund after 5 business days of approval, please contact sales@barriersandbollard.co.uk for assistance.

6. Exchanges

We don’t offer direct exchanges.
To exchange an item:

  1. Return the unwanted item per the steps above.

  2. Place a new order for the replacement product.

7. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply if:

  • The returned item is missing parts or packaging.

  • The product shows signs of use or installation.
    Such deductions are assessed fairly based on the condition of the item received.

8. Damaged or Missing Items

If your parcel arrives damaged or incomplete:

  • Contact us within 10 business days of delivery.

  • Provide order number, photos of packaging and item, and a brief description.
    We’ll work with the courier to arrange a replacement or refund.
